Services
Optics
Visual acuity provides information about a person's vision quality—that is, their ability to perceive details at close, intermediate, or far distances.
Pterygium Surgery
This treatment seeks to permanently remove the pterygium from the ocular surface and perform microplastic surgery to restore the conjunctiva to its healthy state.
Cataract Surgery
This is a simple eye procedure that usually takes no more than 10 minutes. Recovery from the surgery is generally quick.
Retina Surgery
Retinal surgery is recommended when there is damage to the back of the eye that cannot be treated with medication or laser therapy and that puts vision at risk.

February 26, 2026Gracias to Enfoca Ophthalmology! When I was a tourist in Mexico this week, they surgically treated my eye emergency with professionalism and compassion. I called because I suddenly had new floaters. Even though I was not a regular patient, just a tourist on vacation, in less than 24 hours: - they scheduled an appointment - diagnosed a retinal tear -recommended laser surgery to repair the tear -and did the surgery I was thrilled they were willing to see and treat me so quickly, not something I’d expect from a US ophthalmologist. Their courteous ophthalmologist and staff were willing to treat me even tho my Spanish is poor and we mostly communicated via Google translate. Muchas gracias por todo! I’m very grateful. Les recomiendo ampliamente al Dr Mario Riquelme , Dios me mandó con el mejor oftalmólogo que tenemos en Cancún 🙌🏻 Llegué con una conjuntivitis severa, la cual él me mejoró , de un día para otro prácticamente me sentí sin casi nada de dolor y molestias, su atención y preocupación por sus pacientes es divina, su personal que trabaja con él todos muy amables.
