What is the treatment for carnosity or pterygium?

This treatment seeks to permanently remove the pterygium from the ocular surface and perform microplastic surgery to restore the conjunctiva to its healthy state.
The surgery is performed under local anesthesia and involves removing the affected area and placing an autograft (a portion of healthy conjunctiva from the patient's own eye to replace it) or amniotic membrane.
